Chocolate Paves

Approx A3 size drawing on lined paper. I use regular office style A4 paper which I glue together. The texture of the path is collaged from my own drawn dots which I apply onto the back of the drawing after cutting out the necessary shape.
The drawing is unmounted. I have placed it onto a piece of A3 mounting card but not stuck it down.
The design is currently being used on the back of the dessert menu at The Alice restaurant in the Randolph Hotel in Oxford. The brief was to create a whimsical take on Alice in Wonderland and reference some of the architecture of the city, as well as one of the hotel's most famous long-term residents, the illustrator Osbert Lancaster.
